Alden Rosemåling  The pages of Gerd and Asbjørn Alden, my parents. My father is a woodworker who crafts the bowls and plates that my mother paints in the traditional Norwegian " rose painting". She is one of only about a half dozen traditional painters that we know of in Norway today.
